It’s well known that fast fashion, which focuses on speed and low costs, is particularly bad for the environment. It is responsible for tons of solid waste and is responsible for more greenhouse gas emissions than all international flights combined.
So, here we are sharing 6 sustainable fashion brands we love!
1. No Nasties
No Nasties is a Goa-based clothing label that makes 100% organic, fair trade, designer and vegan apparel for the Indian retail market.

2. Fabindia
Fabindia is also one of the many Indian companies starting to embrace the trend of using organic products. The natural, chemical-free process of producing cotton organically is thought to reduce soil and water pollution, while promoting biodiversity and more sustainable farming practices.

3. Nicobar
Nicobar is continuing to expand its use of organic cotton, it announced on Facebook. The brand now makes all of its 'Core Clothing', including t-shirts and basics from organic fibres and aims to expand organic, sustainable textiles across all of its clothing collections this year.
The brand has also started using recycled wool for a new line of shirts, jackets, and dresses, which are now made from 50% recycled wool and 50% recycled acrylic, nylon, and polyester. Using recycled wool helps to reduce water waste and uses less energy than to produce new fabrics, the brand shared on Facebook.
